The Eaters' Cave

A scene from my upcoming installment to "The Journey of Sire Magnis" series, Part 2: The Defiled Temple. The "Eaters" are essentially my own variant of zombie, and this is their cave which my characters will see outside of the city.

Zombie = "Tzom-Bi" in Hebrew, which means, "A fast is in me." In the spiritual/kabbalistic sense, the "zombie" actually refers to someone who ungrateful and unable to be satisfied. No matter how much you feed them, they will always feel like they're fasting and have nothing inside of them. The zombie is the ingrate.
